El Brujo-The ruin of the magician 行ってみたエル・ブルホ遺跡

トルヒーヨから60キロ、車で1時間半ほどのところに、El Brujo-魔術師という名の遺跡があります。路線バスとモトタクシーを乗り継いで片道15ソルくらい。ツアーは約4時間半90ソル。カオ博物館は入場料10ソル。わかりにくいところなので、ガイドもつくツアーがお勧めです。

60 kilometers from Trujillo, about an hour and a half by car, is the ruins of El Brujo. It costs about 15 soles one way by taking a local bus and a moto taxi. The tour lasts about 4 and a half hours and costs 90 soles. The entrance fee to Cao Museum is 10 soles. It can be inconvenient to reach there, so I recommend a tour with a guide.

エル・ブルホは魔術師、シャーマンを意味するスペイン語。5000年前から存在するモチェ文化のピラミッドの複合遺跡。プレインカ文明のパワースポットです。今でも地元の呪術師による水の浄化式に使われている聖なる遺跡。ぜひ一度訪れてみてください。El Brujo is a Spanish word meaning magician or shaman. A complex of pyramids from the Moche culture that has existed for 5,000 years. It is a power spot of the Pre-Inca civilization. A sacred ruin that is still used by local sorcerers for water purification ceremonies. Do visit there!

2017年に、Dama de Cao(カオの女性)と呼ばれる女性のミイラが復元、公開されました。女性の指導者の存在を表す大発見となりました。いわばモチェ文化の卑弥呼。 併設するカオ博物館ではカオの女性のミイラを閲覧することができます。写真撮影は禁止。In 2017, a female mummy called Dama de Cao (Lady of Cao) was reconstructed and made public. This was a major discovery that showed the existence of female leaders. Himiko of Moche culture, so to speak. At the attached Khao Museum, you can view the mummy of a Khao woman. Photography is prohibited.
