世界遺産チャンチャン遺跡、訪ねてみた (2) Nik An編

Nik An とは、10ある城壁（シウダレーラ）の一つです。
2023年6月現在、公開されている城壁はこれだけです。
Nik An is one of the ten walls (Ciudallera).
As of June 2023, this is the only castle wall open to the public.
博物館からNik Anへの道路。歩くと30分くらい。タクシーも使えます。
The road from the museum to Nik An. About 30 minutes on foot. You can also use a taxi.

トルヒーヨ市内からツアーに参加かタクシー。
もしくはワンチャコ方面行きのローカルバスを利用
入場料：10ソレス
※Nik Anの入場券は、「チャンチャン遺跡博物館」「エメラルドのワカ」「ドラゴンのワカ（虹のワカ）」と共通
Take a tour from Trujillo city or use a taxi. Alternatively, take a local bus bound for Huanchaco / Entrance fee 10 soles
*Admission ticket for Chan Chan Ruins is the same as "Chan Chan Ruins Museum", "Emerald Waka", and "Dragon Waka (Rainbow Waka)".

さあ、城壁のなかへ！気分はインディ・ジョーンズ。　
Let's get into the ancient wall city. Feeling like you were Indiana Jones.

砂の壁の迷宮。魚の形の案内板に従って進もう！
Labyrinth of sand walls. Let's follow the guide boards in the shape of a fish!

魚と鳥の回廊。Corridor of fish and birds.

リスまたはラッコのレリーフ。ラッコに尻尾はあったっけ。
Relief of Squirrel or sea otter . Do sea otters have a tail?

中央広場。様々な儀式が行われたそうです。Central square. Divers ceremonies were held.

謁見もしくは小礼拝堂の間。波模様やペリカンのレリーフ。　
The Hall of Audiences or Small Temples. Pattarns of waves and relief of pelicans

儀式の池。砂漠の中の48メートル×48メートルの大きな池。優れた灌漑技術。
The ceremonial pond. A large pond in the desert, measuring 48 meters by 48 meters in.
They had a excellent irrigation technology.

この世界遺産は、風化し少しずつ砂漠に埋もれつつあります。まず、現地に見学に来ていただくことが、最高の保全のための支援になります。
This World Heritage site is weathering and gradually being buried in the desert. First of all, よyour visiting the site is the best support for conservation.
