巡礼の道歩いてみた。The Pilgrimage to the City of Faith

門の聖女といえば、海賊からトルヒーヨを守ってくれた守護神。アンデス山脈の信仰の街と言われるオツスコへトルヒーヨから約75キロメートルを歩く巡礼の旅があります。12月15日の聖女の祝典を目指して、巡礼に参加しました。高低差2,600メーター、約20時間の行程です。12月14日の朝の5時に中央広場を出発して、国道10Aを通って15日の朝1時に着いた時にはすっかり雨でした。美しい門の聖女を目にしたときには、疲れも癒されるようでした。

The Virgen of the Gate is the guardian deity who protected Trujillo from pirates. There is a pilgrimage that takes about 75 kilometers from Trujillo to Otsco, which is said to be a religious city in the Andes Mountains. I went on a pilgrimage to celebrate the feast of the Virgin of the gate on December 15th. The journey takes about 20 hours and has a difference in elevation of 2,600 meters. We left the central plaza at 5am on December 14th, took National Route 10A, and arrived at 1am on the 15th by the time it was raining completely. When I saw the beautiful face of the Virgen, my fatigue seemed to be relieved.

古代の洞窟、パタラタ渓谷 / The anchient caves and Patarata Canyon

パタラタ峡谷サンティアゴ・デ・チュコの中央広場から徒歩約 20 分の場所にあります。比類のない美しい自然の場所であり、川と自然林が続く2キロメートルのルートがあり、パタタラ洞窟、インフェルニーロ洞窟、チミニガ洞窟、クエンレ洞窟などの自然の洞窟があります。この遺跡を保存することはとても重要です。かつて偉大なチュコ国家を形成した原始的なコミュニティの本拠地でした。プランポーナ、マピタ、ペーニャデルオルビドの滝などの伝統的な池の存在が注目を集めています。敷地内にはその歴史を解説する博物館があり、途中、石橋やゴリラ岩などの自然の視点を楽しむことができます。ロッククライミングの練習ができるほか、ボート乗馬やスポーツフィッシングなども楽しめます。
Patarata Canyon
About 20 minutes’ walk from the main square of Santiago de Chuco, there is a natural place of incomparable beauty, which includes a two-kilometer route of rivers and natural forests, with the presence of natural caves such as the Patatara Caves, the Infernillo Caves, the Chiminiga Caves and the Quenrre Caves, whose importance lies in having vestiges. They have been home to primitive communities that formed the once Great Chuco Nation. It draws attention to the presence of traditional pools such as Plampona, Mapita and the Peña del Olvido waterfall. It has an on-site museum that explains the history. Along the way we can enjoy natural viewpoints such as the stone bridge and the gorilla rock. 温泉の街カチカダン。/ The town of hot spring, Cachicadan.

カチカダン温泉は、ラ・ボティカと呼ばれる有名な丘のふもとにある温泉薬水の天然源であり、観光客に大きな影響を与えています。これは、何らかの有害なプロセスに苦しんでいる人々にとって、その優れた薬効によるものです。神経学的または筋肉レベル、さらにはストレスや身体全体の不快感に関連する問題さえも含まれます。この山間の美しい街には、サッカーグランドや温水プールのあるホテルなどがあり、家族連れや若者のグループにも最適なリゾート地です。

The Cachicadan thermal baths are a natural source of thermo-medicinal water that is located at the foot of a well-known hill called La Botica. 詩人セサール・バジェホの街　The Town where the poet Cesar Vallejo was born.

サンティアゴ・デ・チュコはラ・リベルター州のアンデス地帯にある小さいが美しい街です。また、この街はペルーの国際的詩人、サセール・バジェホの生誕地としても有名です。毎年、何百人もの様々な国の旅行者が彼の生まれた家を訪れます。そこは今、Museo Casa “Cesar A. Vallejo Mendozaという博物館になっています。中央広場から3区画いったところにあります。サンチアゴ・デ・チュコは、トルヒーヨからバスで4時間のところにあります。
Santiago de Chuco is a small but beautiful city in the Andes area of La Libertad. It is also renounced as the birthplace of the most international Peruvian poet, Cesar Vallejo. Every year, hundreds of travelers from various countries visit the house where he was born, and today is a museum, Museo Casa “Cesar A. Vallejo Mendoza.” It is located three blocks from Plaza de Armas. Santiago de Chuco is four-hour bus ride from Trujillo.

サトウキビの収穫祭、カサ・グランデ

10月27日は、アスコペ郡のカサ・グランデ市のZafra Festivalでした。たくさんの人々が、サトウキビの収穫を祝うこのお祭りに集まりました。カサ・グランデは美しい街で、この銅像は、なたでサトウキビを刈り取る姿を現しています。音楽とマリネラ、学生たちの楽団演奏、地元の職人たちの商品の即売会。グルメやスポーツなども楽しめました。ぜひこの街にお越しくださいね！

October 27th was the Zafra Festival in Casa Grande、the Province of Ascope. Many people gathered for this festival to celebrate the sugarcane harvest. Casa Grande is a beautiful town, and this bronze statue depicts a man cutting down sugar cane with a machete. Music and marinera, student brass band performances, and a sale of products from local artisans. You can also enjoy local foods and traditional dance.
